The Asics Gel-Resolution in Black and Iridescent Blue is the colorway built on a physical phenomenon rather than a fixed palette. Black covers the primary upper as the tone that absorbs everything and reflects nothing — the most absolute surface in the spectrum, carrying no temperature, no ambiguity, and no competition with anything placed beside it. It is the correct foundation for iridescent material precisely because it eliminates all background interference: on black, a chromatic shift reads at its maximum clarity, undiluted by reflected ambient color. Iridescent blue arrives at the structural overlays and lateral support panels not as a single color but as a behavior. Viewed straight on, it reads as a deep, saturated blue — the blue of deep water and open sky under specific light.
